Zoe-perry

Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first television performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed the role. In fear of stress, her parents did not want to see performing before turning age 18. Perry shy and shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began performing in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry started her acting career with New York after graduation, getting small roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But homesickness made Perry return to California to work as a stage actress. She performed on Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. Perry was in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie as well as Kevin McKidd. This was presented at West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry played a lead role in nine episodes in 2016 of ABC's show The Family. In 2017, she was a part-time character in ABC's political thriller Scandal which starred her father. She played the role of a younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was another younger portrayal of her mother. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character she received the role through an audition.
