Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is known as a well-known American cook book author for a number of seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina started her career creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets for the White House. After initially finding the job fascinating and intellectually stimulating, she soon became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. Her store was extremely successful over the course of 18 years until she made the decision to close it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. Many different cookbooks and magazines came later. Between them the Food Network show was also successful. Also, Ina sells products including food-related ingredients, storage containers and equipment. Ina herself, a self-taught chef, has never studied at an institution for cooking or an establishment. She is well-known for her effortless way of entertaining and easy food preparation. Her most well-known recipes include quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet Baked Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts.
