Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. She operates and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she works with athletes. Annie was the first female in history to have won her place in the CrossFit Games two times. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. She was the first female winner of The CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. She is also known for having won at the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland together with her family. From a very young age, Annie was an avid sports fan and enjoyed exercising. She took home numerous awards during school competitions. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit Games in California where she performed relatively good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around the 67-kg mark. Annie began her CrossFit journey in California in the year 2009. She did admirably in her first contests. She finished amongst Top 10 among over 70. Although she did not win any title however she was able to finish with an eleventh spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She placed 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's direction. After one year of CrossFit Games Annie was the winner of her debut CrossFit Games. Her impressive accomplishment earned her the title. Annie became the very first female who has ever won repeatedly in CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. In 2014, she was awarded a gold medal. In 2021, she won with a bronze. Annie is the current coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie, who is currently a competitive athlete, has appeared in advertisements to promote sports products, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's Yerbae - the sidekick for Nu Transparent Labs Periodization and others. Aside from that, she also has her own Youtube channel which has around a thousand viewers where her video clips, diet and travel videos are shared.
